Historic Courtesy Call: Royal Philanthropic Lodge Engages High Commissioner on Freemasonry's Impact.

A delegation of Trinidadian Freemasons from the Royal Philanthropic Lodge 405EC presented His Excellency Vishnu Dhanpaul, Trinidad and Tobago's High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, with a painting of the Lodge building located on Herbert Street, Port of Spain.

Members of the Royal Philanthropic Lodge 405EC, led by the Worshipful Master and accompanied by three Past District Grand Officers, three Past Masters, and five Master Masons, paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Vishnu Dhanpaul, High Commissioner of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to the United Kingdom.

The delegation was in London to attend the September Communications of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons and the United Grand Lodge of England.

His Excellency expressed a keen interest in the principles of Freemasonry and encouraged the brothers to continue their charitable and youth mentorship initiatives with dedication. The senior brethren shared that several past High Commissioners had also been active Freemasons.

After a lively and engaging discussion, His Excellency was presented with a limited-edition print of the "Temple Mt. Zion" Lodge, painted by the then 16-year-old daughter of Brother Darrel Allahar.
